I can't watch the game but I'm listening via the Cleveland radio feed and since Harrington came in it seems the offense perked up! The last drive before half-time sounded pretty good. Even the bias Cleveland announcers had to admit it! I know some will say, hey he was playing against some scrubs, but please remember. These 'scrubs' want to win jobs and they'll play their asses off to get one, so don't downplay what he's doing. McMahon seems to be struggling, maybe feeling the pressure of holding onto his number one starters status. If Harrington plays as good the second half, I'm all for starting him in the seasons opener. Rushing him too soon? Carr was drafted number one and he has already been anointed the starters position. So far he's looked good. I believe if the QB has the mental toughness it doesn't matter when he starts. Go Lions!!!!!!

Marty needs to start Harrington in at least the next preseason game. How can he honestly evaluate McMahon and Harrington if he dosen't put them in similar situations to compare? It's clear to me that Harrington is by far the better quarterback, but we need to see how he does against 1st team quality players. Also, next week is the Steelers, who have one of the best defenses in the league. I can't think of a better test.
