You'd think Bonehead Millen would do some wheeling and Dealing with another team if Sanders wanted to play. But instead....oh well.

On this one I give the Lions their props for sticking to what's RIGHT.

Sanders and his bottom-feeder of a father went out with no class whatsoever, and the two of them can screw themselves if he wants to play again

That's right, screw him! The Lions could have had a decent draft pick(s) for him. We could have seen a great player play out his career and let him have a chance at a championship, but the Lions stick to their guns and get NOTHING. I mean it's not like they are rebuilding or anything. Most teams when they have a player that doesn't want to play for them, move that player, get the most from it and move on. The Lion organization would rather be stubborn than build a winning team. Makes no sense at all.

Just out of curiosity, has Sanders _ever_ said himself that he would like (or would've liked) to play for another team?

I remember his agent(s) or 'other' third party sources saying that Sanders might come back if the Lions could work a good trade. Yet I never remember Sanders ever saying that.

Read my marked words. The only quote was from an 'unnamed source.'

Sanders has never done or said anything that a rational, disinterested person could understand as wanting to play again. Matt Millen, Sanders' dad, and his old agents have dreams about him coming back some day, but they're nuts. The guy isn't Mike Tyson who needs the money and attention, he's not like Minnie Minoso who likes to be a joke. He's done. Finished. It's over.
